Dr. Harkness completed his Bachelor of Science at Brock University. He then went on to graduate in 2001 with a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. He opened West Brant Animal Hospital in March of 2005. Dr. Harkness is married with 3 children and 3 dogs, Pepper, Penny and Marlowe. He has an interest in surgery including orthopedics.

Dr. Bronsoiler joined the West Brant team in May 2011. Before completeing a Master of Science in Cardiology at The University of Guelph, and a Small Animal Internship in 2003-2006, she graduated from Veterinary School in Mexico City in 1996. Jessika has 2 two dogs; her Goldendoodle Elora, and Schnauzer Kushi, as well as a Grey Tabby named Manuela, and a grey cat named Fred. Dr. Bronsoiler has an interest in Cardiology, Opthalmology and Internal Medicine. She lives with her husband Alex, son Ethan. On her days off she enjoys cooking, gardening, and eating good food!

Dr. Kylie Evers joined our team right after graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in May 2017. She has a keen interest in surgery, but when it comes to daily appointments, she loves teaching owners how best to raise their brand new puppies and kittens! Outside of the clinic, Dr. Kylie enjoys hiking, biking, and relaxing with her fiancé Simon, and her cat Jovi.
